Because you have a lot of cases to answer here’s a question are you crazy you may have had a similar question asked you by you Nanny or anybody close why because you broke a plate things of that sort it came to be that when you broke another plate for 100 time you are asked the same question and then you began to ask yourself the same question until you starting to believe in it.
Are you okay?
Such questions are answers in themselves in the sense that they imply that something is amiss. It is a subtle way of sarcasm when you think about it. Fast forward to when you’re older and you spend the three quarters of your day justifying whatever you do wrong. Everything feels like judgement. You pick up every book and read everything that promises to fix you so that you can plead ‘not guilty’ when time comes. But of course every attempt you make fails. You lock your bedroom door and switch off the lights and stare at the ceiling, disgusted with yourself.
“If you could be just like Timmy,” you tell yourself. “Jimmy is smart and does everything that you can’t do. Timmy is not innocent and you are guilty.”
Timmy is in his room helplessly shooting cocaine up his nostrils for the ninth time today. He’s thinking about Mike, to whom he was told to emulate “because Mike’s better.”
Mike is out cheating on his newly wedded wife.
